There are a number of people who are members of various spiritual organizations, but unfortunately a lot of them cannot attend all the events organized. Life has become so hectic these days that even if there is a will, it is often difficult to attend them physically. As time progressed technology advanced too. As people got busier and had to stay away from their home and hometown for longer duration, the modes of communication also improved.

One such new technology is VMMS or Video Messaging and Mailing Service. This technology can help the devotees to be able to watch the events and programmes even if they cannot be present at the venue due to some reason. Reasons can be anything from businesses to personal commitments. A lot of people were excited when they heard that video messages can be used to get all the visuals of programmes they miss on their mobiles or other internet connected devices.

Amit Pudwal, a member of a spiritual organization, said, ‘I am into Logistics business and I am mostly required to be in office or on call. It gets difficult to attend aartis or bhajans at all times. It would be great if there is a way to get these through some video message.’

While a lot of people are already utilizing video messaging their way, many are not aware of it too. This awareness can help a lot of devotees to not miss the aartis and bhajans even if they cannot make it to the venue. Video message can help them to watch the programmes even if they have missed it.

Bansal Rao, a 65-year old devotee, was delighted with the idea of video message. He said, ‘I am not keeping well these days. I often cannot go out for the aartis, bhajans or pravachaan. I feel better when I can see these amidst all other problems of daily life. If I can get these on mobile phones it will be good.’

There can also be ‘Geeta Paath’ that can be sent on video message to people who could not attend. This way people can see them as many times as they wish to, and also at their convenient time. Courses like Bhakti Shastri can also be imparted through video SMS service.

VMMS can prove to be a great way for housewives, who are burdened with responsibilities; office goers, who have to earn their bread and butter; old people, who find it difficult to be present for all the programs.

Mayapur TV which is a platform for watching live programs is a very source for devotees too. Video message can also be used to see programs at a later time or date. This service can keep the members close to the organization and the programs even if they are not in a situation to be present there. A free service, VMMS can be availed by everyone without any difficulty.
